Meet the Syplex TeamSimon has considerable expertise in Novell Netware NDS, Groupware, LAN and WAN support, VPNs, support of SME business, IT strategy planning - worked as "Virtual IT Manager" for a number of companies, Microsoft Small Business Server, MS Exchange, Windows NT & 2000 dial in/ISDN/ADSL solutions, Integrated voice mail/fax, Windows XP specialist.
Jonathan is an experienced technical consultant with strong project management skills. Particular expertise in Microsoft Infrastructure products Windows 2000, active directory and Exchange 2000. Designed and implemented Microsoft solutions for Police Authorities, retail (Harvey Nichols). Designed AD solution for 1800 seat global installation.
Jonathan joined the Construction Industry Training Board in 1990 as an IT Trainee straight from school and left 2 years later as a Systems programmer. Following on he worked for ICL in Reading in Global Network Team; worked for Council in Kings Lynn for 3 years as Technical Services Manager. He then went contracting in 1996 - worked for CSC (Computer Science Corporation) in Histon on Anglian Water project; installed Windows NT network for Harvey Nichols in London; designed and Installed Windows NT/MS Exchange solution for North Wales Police (on contract to Nortel); installed NT4/Exchange solution for Chiroscience; managed IT Infrastructure side of mergers for Chiroscience/Celltech/Medeva; provided consultancy for Win2k/Active directory installation for Celltech Group.
Carl joined Syplex in March 2005 as an IT Site Support Engineer. Carl came from Uttlesford District Council where he worked as a Document Imaging Project Assistant. Carl graduated from Loughborough University in 2004 with a BEng (hons) in Mechanical Engineering. His studies covered Business Studies, Calculus, Computer Control & Instrumentation, Control Engineering, Computer Aided Engineering, Dynamics, Kinematics, Robotics and Thermodynamics.
Paul joined Syplex in August 2006 as a Trainee IT Engineer. He graduated from Cambridge Regional College in 2006 with a Diploma in IT@Work, ITSST, ECDL, IT Essentials, iPRO Level 2, Key Skills AON & Comms Level 2.
Michelle joined Syplex in August 2007 as Office Manager. She has many years of experience in administration and customer service roles. Michelle is responsible for the creation of the Syplex website.
Rob joined Syplex in September 2007 as a Technical Support Engineer. Rob joined us from JPC Infonet where he spent seven years working as a Technical Support Engineer.
Andrew joined Syplex in June 2008 as an IT Site Engineer. Andrew came from Bidwells Property Consultants, where he worked as an IT support technician for three years. He graduated from Long Road sixth form college in 2004 with an A level in Computing; Electronics and a GNVQ in IT. Andrew is a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, and is ITIL Foundation Certified. He also has experience with Novell Groupwise, Citrix, as well as Windows mobile and Symbian devices.
John joined Syplex in March 2009 as an IT Site Engineer. John joined us from Argo Technologies where he worked as a Technical Manager after running his own IT business for three years. John is a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds a Btec National Diploma in Computer Studies.
Trish joined Syplex in August 2009 as our Accounts Administrator. She has many years accounts experience and also assists with general administration.
Matt joined Syplex in October 2009 as a Technical Support Engineer. Matt joined us from Wade International where he held the position of IT Assistant. Prior to that he spent 2 years at MIT Duplex as a Helpdesk Engineer.
